Fair warning, this rabbit hole contains sustainable floral design, some killer R&B playlists, and an obsessive need to create the most magical atmosphere for your wedding imaginable.

You need a sustainable florist for your wedding or event… and now you’ve fallen down the rabbit hole into my world.

Hey, I'm

And like many florists, I started my business doing my friend’s wedding, and it’s only grown since then.

Based in Pierce County, Washington, I serve couples in the Pacific Northwest region who want to have beautiful, sustainable, and slightly unconventional floral arrangements for their wedding (or other special event.)

I’ve been told I bring the calm vibe to an otherwise chaotic day, the whimsy to something that could be conventional, and an attention to detail to an event that can be overwhelming. Above all, I bring an artist’s touch to a service that completely changes the vibe of your wedding.

During that time, my college roommate brought me some flowers that I decided to arrange, and I completely fell in love with flowers right there.

A bit impulsively, I enrolled in flower school in LA, during which I spent 7 weeks learning everything there is to know about flowers and running a flower business.

Long story short, Cymbidia is my own creative take on floral design, wedding vendor service, and sustainability I’ve always wished existed in this industry.

I actually had aspirations to be a pro soccer player (I played for 15 years) until 3 concussions in the same year put that plan on pause.

This business was born out of 3 concussions, 1 bouquet, and

What can I say? I have a taste for the dramatic, but not at the expense of sustainability. Nature is the reason why I have this job. It’s where I get my inspiration, so I always give back to it.

Sustainable, but not subtle.

This means that all flowers (that you don’t preserve) are composted after the big day, and all other materials are consciously recycled or reused, so you never have to worry about your marital bliss having a negative effect on the environment.

Member of,

- My brain was made for managing big projects. For some reason, I feel both Type A and Type B at the same time.

- I’m obsessed with all things Greek — the food, statues, mythology, names, and the country itself.

- I love color theory and own so many books dedicated to the interaction and psychology of color.

- Copying things from Pinterest? I could never. Creating original designs for each project is part of why I love what I do.

- Yes, I am a Certified Floral Designer, and am always taking new classes to develop my craft further.

THE ART OF SUSTAINABLE FLORISTRY

I can’t wait for you to benefit from my raging ADHD and burning desire to create floral designs that feel like worlds you could get lost in.
